Made in His Image.

Cows beget cows, dogs beget dogs, horses beget horses, God begets man — is a single theological thread, and it’s pointing to something very specific about identity, origin, and agency.

The core meaning; Everything in creation produces according to its own nature. But God alone produces beyond nature — He begets man in His likeness.

So the message is: You are not the product of your environment, your lineage, your patterns, or your past. You are the product of God’s likeness. This is about remembering who you actually are.

1. “Cows beget cows” — nature repeats itself

This is the simplest symbol:

- Like produces like.  

- Nature reproduces nature.  

- Patterns continue unless interrupted.

It’s Genesis 1 moment: “each according to its kind.”

The lesson:

Natural life repeats itself unless something higher intervenes. 

2. “Dogs beget dogs” — instinct produces instinct

This symbol is about habit, reflex, and inherited behaviour.

Dogs don’t choose what they produce. They simply replicate instinct.

The lesson:

If you live by instinct, you’ll reproduce instinct. If you live by calling, you’ll reproduce calling.

This speaks directly to seasons of shifting from instinctive survival to intentional agency.

3. “Horses beget horses” — strength produces strength

Horses represent:

- power  

- momentum  

- drive  

- natural force

“Horses beget horses” means: Whatever strength you cultivate becomes the strength you pass on. This is about your family, too — the spiritual literacy you’re modelling.

4. “God begets man” — the divine breaks the pattern

This is the theological punchline.

Everything else produces sameness.  

But God produces likeness — something other than Himself, yet bearing His image.

This is Genesis 1:26 in symbolic form; Let Us make man in Our image…. It means: You are not a product of chaos, instinct or natural cycles. You are not bound to reproduce what produced you. You are begotten by God, which means:

Your origin is divine, not circumstantial.  

Your identity is chosen, not inherited.  

Your agency is spiritual, not instinctive.

This is why dreams and symbols keep circling around identity, agency, and new season — you’re being reminded of your source.

So what are you meant to learn?

A single, sharp truth: You’re not limited to your “kind.” You carry the likeness of the One who breaks patterns. Everything else begets sameness but God begets newness.

This is a call to: step out of inherited cycles, to refuse default outcomes, to remember your divine likeness, to create from identity, not instinct and to act from calling, not circumstance.  

It’s a reminder that your life is not a repetition — it’s a creation.
